Kids Teacher at Mel Mack Acting Studio

Margaret Burrus is an actor and teacher from Nashville, TN. She started acting professionally at 9 years old at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center (TPAC) and hasn’t stopped since. In Nashville, Margaret created and ran the summer program “Little Stars”, a young actors theater camp. During her time in school at UNC Chapel Hill, she taught and performed in the North Carolina Interactive Theater Collective. Since moving to New York, she has continued her passion for teaching in after school programs at Columbia Grammar and at Mel Mack Acting Studio. 


Margaret has appeared in national commercials, independent films, and network television shows. She performs live at The PIT comedy theater and The Upright Citizens Brigade Theater NYC. From her experience, she understands how to bridge the gap between stage acting and on-camera acting. She has a passion for working with children and young adults and guiding them in their creative endeavors. She has a wealth of experience to draw from and a silly personality to make classes fun!
